Code of Conduct

This code of conduct applies to all employees, suppliers, contractors and customers while on company property, on company time, at company sponsored events and festivals or as representatives of Left Handed Giant Brewing at any time.

Our mission:

  • Place our employees and our planet before our profit, always.
  • Positively impact our community and our environment. We will lead by example.
  • Make great beer and work at all times to reduce the distance between tank and tap, between ourselves and our customers. Our beer will always taste best closest to home.
  • Create welcoming, diverse spaces that lead the way in the UK beer scene.

At Left Handed Giant we are committed to providing safe spaces, and welcoming, rewarding and fun environments. This applies to our team, our customers, and any other persons who visit, attend or frequent our business premises. To advance this mission employees of LHG must act with integrity, professionalism and lead by example by treating all others as they would wish to be treated themselves, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, disability (mental or physical), age, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, neuro(a)typicality, or religion.

Abusive, harassing, aggressive or offensive behaviour towards others will not be tolerated. These behaviours include, but are not limited too: inappropriate or non-consensual speech, touching, gesturing or posturing that causes offence or discomfort, or coercive behaviour, where the behaviour is known or reasonably ought to be recognised as unwanted or unwelcome

We have ZERO TOLERANCE for: racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, violence or harassment in any way, shape or form. Picture, video content or language of a sexual or offensive nature is not welcome. We expect all people for whom this policy applies to act with integrity, courtesy and respect for others.

If you are witness to failures to act within our code of conduct you can report them to our management at our venues or via our online form, accessible here: Reporting Form. All reporting can be done anonymously or otherwise, and serious allegations of discrimination or harassment will be dealt with by an external HR company.

Failure to act within the terms of our Code of Conduct for our employees will result in appropriate disciplinary actions and process.

Failure to act within the terms of our Code of Conduct by guests to our business premises will result in being asked to leave the premises, and may result in a lifetime ban.
